Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Kebash platform operated by Kebash Systems Ltd.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering a school on Kebash or accessing any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including school administrators, teachers, and staff.
2. Description of Service
Kebash is a cloud-based school management platform designed for Nigerian schools. It provides tools for student management, attendance tracking, result processing, fee management, timetable building, staff and payroll management, and AI-powered academic insights.
3. Account Registration
To use Kebash, your school must be registered by an authorised administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Kebash only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: misuse or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; upload malicious code or content; use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others; or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the software.
5. Subscription & Payments
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed as described on our Pricing page. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account.
6. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you upload to Kebash, including student records, results, and financial data. By using the platform, you grant Kebash a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, logos, and content on the Kebash platform are the intellectual property of Kebash Systems Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our express written permission.
8. Availability & Uptime
We strive to maintain 99.9% platform uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Kebash Systems Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered schools via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
